You do not have, because you do not ask God, when you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives.  James 4:2,3.  Mt. 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Mt. 7:10 . . . how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him.

I think we need to believe that God is a good Father, and that he will give us good gifts.  I don't think most people believe that He really is a good dad to his children.
